Hamilton Contractors is a general contracting company based in Hilliard, Ohio. We specialize in commercial, residential, religious, educational, and historic preservation projects throughout Ohio and surrounding states.

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Semi-Skilled Construction Laborer with basic construction experience who takes pride in quality workmanship and is interested in growing with our company.

Job Responsibilities

Assist with general construction, remodeling, renovation, and restoration projects.

Perform light demolition, framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring, and general carpentry.

Assist skilled tradespeople and project supervisors.

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.

Load, unload, and transport construction materials.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.

Assist with historic preservation and specialty construction projects.

Complete assigned tasks efficiently and professionally.

Qualifications

1–2 years of construction experience preferred.

Basic understanding of construction tools, materials, and techniques.

Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.

Experience in carpentry, drywall, painting, or general repairs is a plus.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical construction work.

Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Location & Travel Requirements

Most projects are located throughout Central Ohio, including Columbus and surrounding communities.

However, Hamilton Contractors also performs work throughout Ohio and occasionally in surrounding states.

Candidates must be willing and available to travel to job sites outside Central Ohio when required. Some projects may involve extended travel or overnight stays depending on the location and duration of the project.
